If you follow GPS this playground is easy to find and it’s street parking. This is neighborhood playground so there are houses and apartments close by but it doesn’t interfere or disrupt playing! I also don’t know of there is a name for the park and if there is I don’t know it. I only know the address. It’s fenced in so that’s the biggest plus for me. Disadvantages are there isn’t a place for parents to sit and there is little to no shade and more importantly and unfortunately no bathrooms.
The playground is kind of worn down and the two sets of steps that lead up are kind of high off the ground. My 18m old had trouble getting up unless it gave his butt a little push. The other way up (or down) is a curved ladder with horizontal boards with little space in between. In the middle of the structure is a dark green tunnel that curved and is slanted. Going up the five step steps leads up to a small double slide, on the left. Go right after climbing the steps and there is a small slightly curved slide. Skipping this slide will lead them to the tunnel. Going through the tunnel leads to another larger curved slide. Skip this slide and you’ll come to another double slide and the other set of steps for going up or down. There are a few interactive games around. There’s is a big tic-tac-toe game, a maze that you spin to get a tiny ball from one side to another and there are two of the telephone things, one at the end of the tunnel and one near tic-tac-toe. There are two swing sets, one with two regular swings and the other has two bucket swings.
Across from this structure and a small thin path is another piece of equipment, less about climbing and more pretend play. There is a small covered table with little room for an adult to sit. A very dirty dome to look out of is across from the table. Some circles cut out in another board is a driving wheel, complete with knows to move around, shifting the pretend car into drive. Another box is for pretend house/rook with a little ledge used by my kids for serving the best of the best, woodchip soup.
This playground is a cute little neighborhood park. There’s more disadvantages than advantages but if you’re in the area it’s worth stopping at for a short time. Definitely don’t go out of your way just for this spot. My daughter barely fit through the tunnel but she’s also a hefty 4y but even still I think this playground is suitable for two and three year olds. The lack of shade and no seating for parents is a bummer but being fenced in keeps parents mind at ease that they can’t really go anywhere.
