You’ll drive through a VERY nice neighborhood to get here. You’ll come to a traffic circle with only one exit which is the playground, field and path. There’s plenty of parking and sunshine and a lack of bathroom and seating for parents. The parking lot is very close to the playground.

Enter the playground area by a path, that we didn’t notice until leaving. We entered by climbing of the two rail high post fence. There is a big curved ladder that is fairly easy for any walker who has experience. Around the corner is a spiral ladder and some steps, again both fairly easy for both toddlers and preschoolers. Another way up is a metal cargo net climbing thing. This leads up to an open for some sideways U shaped money bars. This cargo net and bars lead to a small curved slide. Should they not want this slide they can cross a bouncy bridge. Across the bridge is an opening for a fire pole. Skip the fire pole and you come to the top of the stairs and the opening for the spiral ladder. Make a turn and go up a bit more and you’ll come to a larger hilly slide, the curved ladder and a dome opening for kids to look out. There is a big football field and an outlook that both my kids climbed up once each. There is also a path for walking big I’m unsure of what that entails.

Another South Portland playground that is worth going to. It’s very well kept so it’s a nice view. Kids laughing and frolicking through the sun warmed fields. It’s very quiet and secluded away from any other traffic or cars. The equipment was easy to use for both of my children, 4y and 18m. If you bring a ball you can get some more tike out of this area as well as walking the path. Even without those things the playground is worth a trip by itself.
