As long as this open gym has been going on, we’ve been going. So since my first born was one (she’s now four). It started off small and few things to do but in the short few year it’s gotten bigger and better. It started off on just one floor but has moved on to two floors of fun. Open Gym is on Tuesdays and Thursdays 10:30-11:30.
On the upstairs or in the gym, are play tunnels, bounce houses, ball pits and a three peice pikler triangle climber. It doesn’t sound like a lot but trust me it is. Downstairs you can find coffee for the parents (but it must be enjoyed down here). There is seasonal changing sensory bin, when we were here (during December) the bins were filled with snow like materials. Also set up seasonally there was a corner of all things christmas; a fake fireplace, a tree mittens, etc. Aside from the changing seasonal things, there is a playdough table with ideas if you’re kiddo doesn’t know where to start. A table with a big bucket of crayons and coloring pages nearby. A cute little nook, filled with pillows and a pretty light aquarium is down here too but never occupied. The toys consist of trucks, diplos, farm animals, stuffys, place mats for matching and a few other obscure but obvious choice toys.
