Huston School Park

Falmouth, ME 04105

This is a very easy to find playground and it has plenty of parking. It is partly shaded with one bench for sitting. There is no bathroom. There are some tennis courts, a basketball court and a baseball field. The walk from the parking lot to the playground is short.

This playground is very small. So small. There are two ways up. A sideways U shaped ladder and some a step up. The step is kind of high off the ground, my 18m needed help up it everytime. If you use the step you can reach up and grab the triangular handlebars that lead around in a circle. These were too high for my 4y to reach on her own. If these handlebars aren’t your thing, kids can climb up a ladder that is cut out in the playground. Here is where the opening to the other climbing way up/down is at. Across from this opening is a double slide. Climb up on more step and you’ll come to a big twisty slide. I rode down a couple times and even I went down with some speed.

This playground is not worth it. Not for any age. The step is too high for toddlers to reach on their own and there isn’t much to do for preschool ages or even older. It really felt like we were just going in circles on this playground. Skip this playground and go to Legion Field in Falmouth instead.
