Parking can be hard to find sometimes if there’s a game but usually it’s pretty empty. It is a small wall to the playground. I couldn’t believe that THIS was it. This is what my town thought was worth spending money on building. It is so disappointing. We only go if we are DESPERATE. It’s 6 minutes from us and it’s that bad.
It is one structure with stairs leading to a platform that leads to a long slide. There is a large rock wall that also leads here. Two other ways your kiddo can go up is a widely spaced cured ladder or rubber covering metal net type thing.
There are three small log looking round things that come from the ground. There are three round seats under the playground that kids can sit on, I guess, I’m not really sure their purpose.
There is a small sandbox with no toys for building or digging. There is a swing set with a few regular swings and a chair swing. No bathrooms unless you go during city hall hours and it’s a bit of a walk if you do.
There is a field, a baseball field and a basketball court. An easy, walkable, stroller friendly path leads from the playground to the front of the city hall (or vice versa).
I cannot express enough how much I do not like this playground. It is so so so small. I literally cannot believe this is what everyone in my town was so excited for. There is nothing to do if you’re kid isn’t into the rock climbing or slides. Even then how many times can they do the same thing over and over again? We go when we really need to just go somewhere thst is very close by.
